Dickey Foundation awards two grants to support Florida first responders
Grants will provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to Florida first responders
Dallas, Texas (RestaurantNews.com) The Dickey Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, provides grants to provide first responders with the essential protective gear and safety equipment they need to make their jobs easier and, more importantly, safer .
On Tuesday, November 30 at 11:30 a.m., The Dickey Foundation and local owner / operator Wendy Williams will be handing over 5 sets of bunker equipment to the Midway Fire Department. This will take place at the Dickey’s Gulf Breeze site (1480 Tiger Park Lane, Shop C, Gulf Breeze, FL).
Additionally, on Wednesday, December 1 at 11:30 a.m., the Dickey Foundation and local owner / operator Sam Zaghariet will be handing over to the Panama City Beach Police Department 7 sets of protective armor for 7 of their patrollers. This will take place at the Panama City Beach Police Department (17115 Panama City Beach Pkwy., Panama City Beach, FL).

The donations have a combined value of over $ 20,000 and the Dickey Foundation is proud to be able to support local first responders by providing them with critical armor and protective gear.
