Japan Foundation announces fifth edition of JFF in India

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and India, this festival will focus on its diverse lineup of acclaimed, top-grossing and award-winning films.
The Japan Foundation announced on Friday the launch of the fifth edition of its Japanese Film Festival (JFF) in India, in partnership with PVR Cinemas.
This edition of the festival will take a multi-city tour starting in Delhi January 14-16 at PVR Select Citywalk, Saket, followed by Chennai February 4-6 at PVR Icon, VR Mall Chennai and Bengaluru February 11-13 PVR Mall Forum, Koramangala.
The digital edition of the film festival will run for two weeks, from February 14 to 27, for Indian audiences to enjoy the best of Japanese cinema from the comfort of their own homes.

The 2022 Japanese Film Festival’s film catalog includes films such as Josée, the Tiger and the Fish, Talking the Pictures, Poupelle of Chimney Town, Liar x Liar, Step, Under the Open Sky, Ramayana, The Legend of Prince Rama , Not Quite Dead Yet, Wife of a Spy, Ai Amok and The Night Beyond the Tricornered window.
