President Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest of the Statehood Day celebrations
2022 Jharkhand Foundation Day: President Draupadi Murmu will be the guest of honor at the official ceremony commemorating Jharkhand’s Foundation Day on November 15. Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation to attend the ceremony as a guest of honour. The President is warmly welcomed to the land of valiant martyrs.
At the G-20 summit, the ADG will be in charge of security.
Extensive security arrangements will be made during the G-20 summit, which is due to take place in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in February and March next year. During the conference, the police headquarters formed a state-level security coordination committee. Sanjay Anandrao Lathkar, ADG Operations, has been appointed as the committee’s nodal security officer. Under his leadership, eight IPS officers who will serve on the committee will be in charge of security for the G-20 summit.

From December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023, India will chair the G-20 summit. During this period, more than 200 G-20 meetings will be held in more than 50 cities associated with various states, including Jharkhand. Two meetings are planned in Ranchi in 2023, on February 16-17 and March 16-17. It will include over 550 delegates from the respective countries, for whom security arrangements will be made for everything from accommodation to food and beverages to the conference venue. According to reports, the meetings will be held in the CCL conference room.
Representatives of these countries will attend the G-20 summit.
India, China, Germany, France, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Russia, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States are among the countries represented.
