Treasure Factory Announces Incorporation-Type Split from Consolidated Subsidiary

Treasure Factory Co., Ltd. (Securities code: 3093)

Treasure Factory decided at its board meeting that a consolidated subsidiary be newly created through an incorporation-type company split and succeed the outsourced system development company and business relating to the commercial promotion / investment of its consolidated subsidiary Digital Quest.

Treasure Factory made Digital Quest its consolidated subsidiary in January 2019 with the aim of improving systems development capabilities. Since then, Treasure Factory and Digital Quest have jointly developed various systems and applications used within the group. In order to further improve the systems development capabilities and speed of development of various departments within the group, Treasure Factory has decided to split up Digital Quest and create a consolidated subsidiary of Treasure Factory which will manage the systems development activities, etc. Only the multimedia content activity will remain under Digital Quest, and because this company has no synergy with the group, Treasure Factory will consider selling Digital Quest share to an external third partyrties in the future.
